Built in the 1960s, the Placentia Library needed modernization and a refresh. This project was a complete refurbishment of the interior public spaces, with accessibility upgrades to the public and staff restrooms. New spaces such as a Makerspace, a themed townscape for children, a café, energy generating exercise bikes in the Lobby, and modernized passport offices were also provided.
